Documentation
-------------
These fonts can replace Chicago 12 and Monaco 9, two of the 4 "reserved" fonts in the Macintosh System. (The others are Geneva 9 and Geneva 12. Geneva 10 is not in all Mac ROMs and is NOT included in a minimal System installation.)
Shareware Fee
-------------
$10.00 in USA currency or check or money order payable to: Susan Graham Lesch. You may try these fonts and suggest improvements, but the authors make no guarantees that upgrades will be available. Please send money! We think one week is a reasonable trial period, after which we ask that you destroy your copy unless you plan to give it to a potential customer, in which case, please do!
Licensing, Trademarks and Ownership
---------------------------------
Registered users of these two fonts, "Anonymous™," and "Giambattista™" received all rights associated with "ownership" that we are allowed to give, in keeping with Apple Computer, Inc.'s System and operating license and ownership agreements. Documents created with these fonts are the property of their creators, not Apple, but _only_ if said creators are registered users. Thank you for helping with Adobe Systems' and ATypI's anti-piracy campaign. A _lot_ of work went into these fonts, and they are, we would like to think, a good value for the money we are asking. Please address complaints about "public domain" and "recycling" elsewhere. No promises are being made that "Bitmap Heaven™" is "politically correct," but we're pretty sure it's the best lawyer joke in years.
